This Hike will but led by Rush resident Ann McMican. We will explore the Hundred Acres at Rush Riverside Park on foot. This will not be a very strenuous hike but it may be a bit muddy and rough. Please wear sturdy footwear.
Reservation is requested but not required. Please consider making an optional donation to the organization!
The Hundred Acres of the Rush Riverside Refuge is on Rush-Scottsville Rd. (Route 251), west of East River Road, on the north side of 251. We will gather just west of the entrance to the Railroad Museum. You can park on the side of the road, or at the Railroad Museum; the museum has kindly offered to let us use their lot. There is also a large grassy area on the south side of the road opposite the Railroad Museum, but you have to cross the road after parking there, so please be careful if you use that option.
